Two-Hour Fire-Rated Enclosures
Two hour fire ratings are generally misunderstood.

Fire ratings are based on tests conducted under highly controlled laboratory conditions. Hourly fire resistance ratings do not address specific individual materials or products for their fire resistive characteristics.

The fire test method describes and evaluates the ability of a system or assembly to contain a fire while retaining its structural integrity.

The fire resistance endurance ratings are called out in the building codes based on the type of construction or its group classification.

Please provide a section detail of the assembly, construction type and group classification information along with your contact information below.
